On the monastery island of Tautra in the Trondheim Fjord, Klostergården invites you to authentic food and drink experiences based on local ingredients and family recipes. In the restaurant you can enjoy lunch and dinner dishes such as traditional meat and fish courses, vegetables from nearby Frosta and homemade accompaniments, always with a strong focus on quality and flavour. 

The on‑site craft brewery produces around 20 different beers and its own whisky from Norwegian grain, with the award‑winning Alstadberger among the highlights. For groups and corporate guests, Klostergården offers beer tastings and multi‑course beer dinners where each dish is carefully paired with matching brews. In the farm shop, visitors can bring the taste of Tautra home with them through Klostergården’s own food products, bottled beers, marmalades and other specialities from the Trøndelag region.
